Marine Detachment Fort Leavenworth' Kansas; A Prominent Eagle, Globe, and Anchor EGA Insignia Flanked by MARINE DETACHMENT FORT LEAVENWORTH on Marine Corps Red - Double Sided Completely Hand Painted Metal Sign with a 2 Inch Varnished Wood Frame, the Sign Measures 27 1/2 Inches Tall by 39 1/4 Inches Long and Weighs 12 Pounds. The wood frame has holes in the top where hanging hardware (eye hooks) would have been screwed in (Photos 22 & 23). This exceptional find is straight out of an old barn in rural Kansas! Good Used Condition as Photographed with some wear, paint damage, and surface staining to one side more than the other as seen.
