Vintage original, Lyons Cakes double sided wall sign 18"x16" (45cm x 40cm). Item no 1490B Vintage - early/mid 20th century Lyons Cakes double sided, wall mountable enamel sign 18" wide x 16" high (45cm x 40cm). As can be seen from the photographs, their is some'scabbing' and edge rusting to the enamel and a few other other superficial marks etc commensurate with age.

Deep blue lettering with no apostrophe after the S and a very slightly effervescent deep yellow background, thick enamel layers, no enamel on the inner wall flange (some examples do have this) Presented cleaned, but otherwise untouched. We will post this item anywhere in the world but given the volumetric weight/weight; it will need to go via courier (DHL etc) whose prices vary daily. We seek the best possible price and pass this on to the customer. We do not add anything on for packing unless necessary and in which case it will be clearly stated in the listing.

We research styles/makers etc to ensure that the listing has as much relevant information as possible. Every piece is cleaned, inside and out sometimes that simply involves oil/spirit mixes to remove filth, sometimes just a careful brushing, sometimes the old finish (particularly wax) needs to be removed and the piece re waxed. We always use plenty of photographs and do not try to hide anything - old pieces are what they are! We are easy , flexible and pleasant to d/w and our feedback supports that.
