In good overall condition, with appropriate wear from use and age. Great example of an original 19th Century trade sign. Has some surface wear and discoloration. Missing small section on border as seen in pictures. Could easily be replaced if one wanted to.

On the back is an unfinished sign for a blacksmith. Found in upstate New York. This item may have wear and tear, consistant with age, imperfections and effects from aging.
