Up for sale is a Somewhat Rare Vintage Corner Sweet Shop Ice Cream Sign, Very Good Overall Condition As Shown, Please see photos for details, This sign would be an easy restoration project or enjoy it with all of the weathered character as it is, All metal, Embossed letters, One side has all of the red lettering missing, Most likely that was the side that was in full sun and the red color faded away after decades of exposure, Some minor parts have rust and or rot but the sign as a whole is quite solid and intact, Most likely the sign was green and at some point was painted black, This is a non lighted sign which would have been lighted by other external light source, The mounting pieces have been cut as shown, Measures approx 50 1/2" long x 48" tall x 9 thick, I have not weighed it but it is not heavy and easy to maneuver, Approx 25 to 30 pounds, Made by M. Company Philadelphia USA which made many of the Breyers ice cream signs of this time period as well, Great advertising sign that hung outside at a corner sweet shop in Patterson New Jersey for decades, Sweet!
