Large Stockmens Rexall Drugs Double Sided Porcelain Outdoor Sign. Make sure you check out my other auctions! This is a large double sided porcelain advertising sign for Rexall Drugs, specifically for Stockmens drug store. It would have originally hung on the outside of the store. It measures 88 wide, 61 tall, and 4 deep, with the center can, which is in excellent condition.

Each side has three separate sign panels. The Stockmens panel is 60 wide and 12 tall; the Rexall panel is 88 wide and 36 tall; and the Drugs panel is 60 wide and 14 tall. So in total, there are SIX separate single sided porcelain signs that make up this entire piece. All panels are in pretty nice shape but one side of the sign is slightly better than the other. On the better side, besides some minor chipping along the far right side of the Rexall panel, there are only a couple other minor imperfections in the surface, but none that you cn really see unless you really look for them. On the opposite side, there is a small chip in the top of the C in Stockmens, a couple small chips above the R in Rexall and some small scratches in the solid white paint of the REX letters and in the while scroll, and a couple larger chips between the D and R near the bottom, where it also looks like that panel has been slightly pushed in and bent at the same spot. Even with the imperfections that I mention, this is a NICE looking sign, really on both sides.

I tried to include as many imperfections as I could, if not all, in the photos. Along the bottom right corner of each of the Rexall panels is the label Ohio Thermometer Company Springfield, Ohio. All colors are fantastic with no sign of any fading. There are two mounting brackets that extend out the top of the can about 7.

One is slightly bent (but looks like it could be bent back) so it is no longer a loop while the other one is looped to allow a rod to run between the two for hanging. This is a NICE looking sign that is large and in charge!

As I said, ALL colors really pop and look fantastic. Although short of perfect, this is a VERY nice looking sign and definitely draws attention to itself! This original advertising piece is in outstanding shape and will make a great addition to any advertising, general store, or sign collection! My preference is to work with a company that provides door to door service which handles all of the wrapping, loading, and hauling.
