Aafa Antique Metal Horse Shoeing Advertising Double Sided Trade Sign Folk Art

AAFA ANTIQUE METAL HORSE SHOEING ADVERTISING DOUBLE SIDED TRADE SIGN FOLK ART. Up for sale is this wonderful old horse shoeing sign. It's a double sided metal sign with a wonderful look to it. We're not sure what came first, but the sign has two things on each side.

On the one side it's white with a red B. SMITH, a blue and red HORSE and a hard-to-read SHOEING.

This side has a green KELLY TIRE with a red Springfield in the middle. It's worn and faded and scraped on this side as you'd expect from an old sign that's been hanging around for years. The other side has a rusty patina on it with a reddish and white B. SMITH and a mostly worn-and-faded white that says HORSE SHOEING. The KELLY TIRE on this side is harder to read and in green on the rusty back ground.

On this side the horseshoeing is more. We are guessing at the age of this sign to be somewhere in the 1930's - 40's. It's old and rusty and has seen a lot of years but it has a wonderful look to it!!! It's interesting to say the least! It has holes in it, a chunk of metal out of one end, paint loss, rust, and patina!

This is just what you'd expect from an old sign like this! 35-7/8" wide by 21-1/8" high. We will do our best to answer your questions.
